Killer weekend dudes! We decided not to go to Toronto this weekend, it would be better just to stay at home for once and relax, which is exactly what I did. I slept in until noon or one each day, finally a recharge. Friday night we watched Paycheck and then made our way down to Amber's in the evening. There were a lot of people there I had never met before so it was a good night. Saturday we went down for some beach volleyball by the lake but the court was busy, first time that's happened. I would have been too distracted to play anyway. There were a couple of guys kite-boarding out in the water. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's basically a guy on a wakeboard tied to a kite way up on the air. And these guys were flying, literally. They zip along the water and then cut out a bit on the board so that the kite lifts them out of the water. I so want to try this. Windsurfing or kite-boarding...or both?

Saturday night we all went to AJ's, even Chris. This time we just played pool up top instead of looking silly on the dance floor. I think the girls were out there for most of the time. Every once in a while they'd come back to the table to tell us how pool is stupid and to come out and dance. Their charms just didn't have any effect that night. Good night though, I was in bed around 4 am.

Sunday was the best day I think. I went to Costco to pick up the last of my pictures from the Montreal/Quebec City trip and went straight from there to the volleyball court. We sure play a lot there. It was perfect weather, sunny and blue, only a slight breeze. I worked on my tan a bit more, I hope I become less blinding each time. We played for 2 or 3 hours before heading home for a barbecue. Amber and her friends from Friday night came by too. It was a nice meal of hamburgers, hot dogs, and yukaflux (sp?). We threw cherries and pieces of watermelon in a bowl of vodka and lemonade to soak for a bit. There wasn't much alcohol in there, but enough to enjoy. We'll try it again next time we barbecue, with some different fruit too. I'm thinking pineapple would be good, I'm not sure what else would soak up the liquid as well. Today I finished my report! Yay. So now I get to... start another report. Boo. But after that I get to... you guessed it, write another report. I have to start banking some hours for the time I'm taking off in a couple weeks. These reports should make it easy.

Calgary is ahead 2-1 in the series. Iggy RULES!
