Hey cool. Blogger has changed it's website. (It's where I go to write new entries and customize my page) What a great day for contact sports fans in Calgary. They have a hat trick on the weekend. First: THE FLAMES FREAKIN' WON!! Oh yeah, Iggy had the sweet pass in overtime to Montador, who then took his time putting the puck in the net. He was just waiting for the right time to strike. Second: CANADA FREAKIN' WON!! Canada won it's second consecutive gold at the World Hockey Championships in Prague yesterday. It's cool how half of that team are Oilers. Actually it seems that almost all of the Oilers were in that tournament on one team or another. Third: THE ROUGHNECKS FREAKIN' WON!! Now I must admit that I didn't even know about this until my dad told me today. The Calgary Roughnecks are in the National Lacrosse League and won this weekend. I've never been to one of their games but I'm definitely going next year if I'm in Calgary or not.

So, all in all a great sports weekend. I did some more cooking on the barbecue, went out to the Peel Pub (not a strip club) and the Griz, and watch Van Helsing. I've seen a lot of Dracula movies lately but this one is definitely the best. Very cool effects and an above average vampire story line. Plus Kate Beckinsale is hot. I want to travel this next weekend though. It's been too long. Toronto? Montreal? Ottawa? Roomies, what do you think?
