I'm home...and I'm alive. I really hate driving in these big cities, and Toronto is way worse than Montreal. Especially at night. Other than that, and not finding a place to stay until about 11:00 Saturday night, it was really good. The Bluejays stomped the Diamondbacks 15-4, a lot of home runs in the game too. I have a 69 mph fast ball. I think I can go faster too but I have to change my technique a little bit. Maybe I should start pitching?? Naw. Anyway after that we drove around to several hotels and finally settled on this one ghetto place called Alexandria. I guess three big guys don't have as much to fear. Eric, Galvin and I can handle it. We went to O'Grady's on College Street, right at the base of the U of T. Regina came down to meet us. We drank a bunch of beer, played some free pool. Galvin and Eric got into this contest against some guys from the U of T on which was better: Toronto or Vancouver, the Leafs or the Canucks. The winner of the pool game had the better city, better hockey team...etc. It was really funny to watch because both teams were very drunk and cheating like crazy. Ah, good entertainment. I walked Regina home and then rushed back to save my roomies from getting too carried away. I was a little more nervous on the way home because it was 2 am and I was the only one sober enough to defend myself.
The next day we were up early and off to Canada's Wonderland. It really rocked this time. We hit all the big rollercoasters: Top Gun, Sledgehammer, Vortex, couple of rickety wooden ones, one where you stand up. Regina screamed most of the time, Eric thought he was going to be sick and stopped going on rides at the end, and Galvin and I made it all the way through, although he wasn't feeling great at the end, mostly due to the fun the night before. The drive home was quick and I was back just in time to go with Samad and Nina to see Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkabahn. Good movie, much darker than the first two. Okay, work time.
