Direct from...my phone?

This is an incredible breakthrough...especially for me. I finally got my first work phone ever. A Blackberry 8700r (look it up) and I haven't been able to do ANY work since. I've so far sent a few emails, called Jeff, and now I'm writing this post. Sure it takes longer but damn is it cool!

Other news: the party in Nanton this past weekend was a success. Watched a Tupelo Honey concert on Friday. They're still awesome! Going to see the Columbia Ice Fields this Friday. Also might go to Edmonton this weekend but newest news is that that might change.

Ok, my thumbs are blistering. Will have to build up my tiny-typing-tolerance.

I have been picking blackberries before. They tend to be very prickly bushes and not too pleasant to work with. I wonder why they would give that name to a phone?

Hey Mike...Britton is to be flying to Thailand today, you think the airline will let him go? What are your thoughts with the coup overnight, would you go?

The coup worried me when I heard about it but I don't think Britton needs to be worried, just careful. I heard that the military is giving some control to the king, or at least influence. All Thai people LOVE their king, so that was a good move if it's true. Also, I bet only Bangkok is really affected by this. In rural Thailand it will be business as usual, they're too poor to do anything but keep working.

So, in Britton's email he said he'd be heading up north right away. He should be more worried about mosquitos than tanks. Hiking up to the villages around Chiang Mai is amazing and he HAS to visit Pai (since I missed it on my trip). If Thailand gets too hot he can also skip up into Laos (which he should do anyway) and visit Cambodia and Vietnam instead. I know Britton's going to have a great time.

Getting better. It's now tiny-typing-and-walking that's tough. Going to get run over someday. Thank God for the +15 indoor walkways in Calgary.
