Hunting the Big Whitefish

Yeah, it's been a while but at least I'm back. We're in Whitefish, Montana right now about to go up for our first day on Big Mountain. Skiied Fernie yesterday with Jacob, Matt, and Mike Richmond. Dan was supposed to be along too but unfortunately we lost him to the flue at the end of last week. I guess we lost Mike too today to the soreness that comes with being a beginner. He gave it 100 % but it caught up with him today. Yesterday he took a couple of good wipeouts on the hill, once a small 6-year-old girl came up to ask him if he was okay.

So the remaining three are going to see what the American hill has to offer. I guess we'd better get up there. THe continental breakfast was good, enough to make it until lunch anyway. Wish us luck.
